A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Poem

in a dimly lit closet

a small box

a smaller pistol

a decision

Put the pistol down, shut the box, close the closet door.

Sadly some don't J. and a life ends. A life is blown away because there is no one available to help a person in distress. And there are plenty in distress in current times and mental health problems are a minefield.

So much could be said about this piece of brevity. A bullet can cause so much damage. A kiss can soothe, an embrace, even more so.
