Love Poem

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Love Poem
I slipped you into my folder
concussed heart
envelopes love
cuddling with hope
you will file me into your system
as well
I can't remember where I am
but feel I have known you
before, during and after
the fall
it's worth the risk
to fall again and again
I'm sure I know you
I'm sure.

If you believe in a one true soulmate, these beautiful words make perfect sense. A wonderful tribute to that most baffling of all emotions: Love. Well written, Jacob.

but feel I have known you
before, during and after
the fall"
