Another hole where the rain gets in? And keeps your mind from wandering? (Can't remember which of them wrote that line.)

I believe John wrote most of that song, although Paul sang lead on it.

That is one of my two favorite songs from Sgt. Peppers....along with "She's leaving Home"---
Is all that hair covering a hole in your head so we can't get to your secrets? But then your secrets are laid bare in between the lines of your poetry. I think you know if the 'Big Man' is gonna swing the gates wide???
They will probably ask if you are double vaccinated first, they don’t want covid in heaven. A polished succinct piece depicting life as simple as a geometric shape and how accurate it is to the checkered flag.
Ah, this poem was well crafted and asked haunting questions that many of us are asking. I glided across this pond with visuals all along the way. Well done, Jacob, well done indeed.
Hi Jacob, I think that those pearly gates shall open for you, for me, they shall remain closed. This is such a wonderful write, written by your usual creativity. We embrace life and drive on, we have no need to drive fast, we shall reach our final destination in time. May the words flow until you pass through those gates. Have a wonderful Friday....Mike.
Sorry I'm at the bottom of the queue for responding to this great piece of ink J. (Life is very busy at the moment:((
I hope those 'pearlies' do open for you but also hope that that day is a long way off.
A cup of tea, a biscuit and one of your gems is a good way to start the day.
This is really good! I’m on the track but behind you but I’m catching up today! I have to say I don’t mind this track, it’s nice, there’s no stop signs, no need, we just keep going until we run out of gas, putter, putter

I think no matter what the situation is, we should embrace our life and must keep on doing what we love, to find happiness, serenity and calmness. I really liked the way how you poetically portrayed the thoughts of us, the creators!!
Keep writing.

Anu

a big question for sure, jacob ... we hope the gate will open for us for sure; but the greater thing about that is that, according to the teachings of Christ ... our Creator wants that door open more than we do .. it's all about choices before the finish line is crossed ... what kind of a pit crew we have can make a big difference as well :) sure can relate to this one sir! plain and simple .. well earned wisdom .. lucky to have those long silver locks. ;))))))))
