A short film by Nobody

flies flick

 winged whatevers

alight abruptly on my brow

I blink them off

they find a new cadaver heart

I decompose,

in silence

                                          the buzzing stops

WhatEver!

I remember this flick. The Director was the same guy who directed "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre."

thanks John, for the smile.

They call me Nobody.
Flies are a nuisance, but useful ... they feed birds and lizards ... they just annoy the hell out of us.
But rather a regular fly than those damn blackflies that drive moose crazy.
We probably should remember we all become cadavers ... some even end up in medical classes. I believe my daughter's team called theirs Fred.
Even Beethoven de-composed at the end.

Good one j.

This reminds me of a scene from a recent war motion picture from ww1 I can’t recall the name it’ll come
Of maybe soldiers being gunned down alone a long way from home alone lying there dying taking last breaths what went through their minds omg I don’t know
This poem reflects to me how we come me into world alone leave alone taking nothing bringing nothing
Very good Jacob
I’ll recall picture soon 🔜 we hopes !

Yeh it’s great
:D whatever bought you to this thought I have to wonder - you eave me thinking of the Tibetan monks and the Parsi's who are devoured by the vultures upon death.

all seems like a reasonable and fitting circle of life

first thing I readthis morning was your words - oh what a set up for the day ahead my friend. :)

Hello, Jacob! :)
If I were a fly, I’d keep coming back, because your heart stinks exquisitely.

dearest Jacob... your words have me feeling
like the "Moody Blues". Wrap me up in swaddling clothes
and tuck me in an air-tight Box... when I pass away...
with poems in my heart forever and a day. truly, Pat
