I like teachers. I like people to fix my language. Hello Jacob. Some folks can change the language. I know I need a editor. Happy Saturday and thank you for sharing the entertaining poetry.

Made me smile Jacob, your last line sounds very like something a typical Yorkshireman would phrase it lol.
Amazing how words sound the same and mean something very different ...

The "American Way" has been quickly changing over the last six decades. In that mere time span, for example, sodomy has gone from being a crime, punishable by imprisonment in every state in the USA, to gay pride marches where people carry signs proclaiming, "Going To Hell, And Proud" The moral compass of America has done a hundred and eighty degree turn in less than one lifetime; in less than MY lifetime. What was evil once is now considered good and what was good once is now considered evil. But it is fulfilling the prophecy of scripture. The morals and virtues of civilized society are often changing but not very often for the better. Being a student of history, I recall reading about the Roman bathhouses, prostitutes under every arch (now they have street corners) and the great orgies thrown around the time of Nero and shortly before. But Rome fell and great was its fall. America is headed down the same road, obviously, learning nothing at all from history. We even fashioned our democracy on Rome and many of our government buildings...quite apropos, considering.

One of the best flippant messages I've read in a flurry of outrage this week. Your wordplay on "incite" is brilliant & your ignorant-sounding ending is a realistic caption for the many photos of Capitol rioters (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
