the almost poems...

the almost poems...

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

the almost poems...

millions of cold sound bytes

exhaling breath-full words

abounding

but frozen before sounding

an idea in inertia's cabin

trying to get warm

sitting by the fire fermenting

perhaps in spring

we will find out what the poet

attempted to express

before his February

came much too soon.

quiet is a season

of blank pages

shivering in a wind-chilled

good night.
