Where

Where

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Where

urban shut in

the country waits

there are green fields

turning lavender

the passion returning

he sits in grief

in some high-rise state of heart

ready to jump.

He has got to jump sooner or later. Sooner the better. We have vaccines now, the recovery process will start and I feel sure that 2021 is going to be a much better year all round. One where we will be able to get out and smell the lavender for ourselves. Long awaited and much longed for.

Your review is more poetic than the poem itself.
