It sounds like your Christmas spirit is about on par with my own & many others of the deeply jaded ilk. This poem expresses so much of what I was feeling when I wrote the 12-days-of-death poem Cadaver Christmas. Sorry, but the wind is not only crying here, but has thrown its toys out the pram and having a temper tantrum and the rain is bouncing three feet back in the air on landing, on snow/ ice. I'm just waiting for the patter of hooves to repent my blasphemous ways and apologise to the made up beard guy who lives in the clouds.
