Indeed, sometimes we are along for the ride and the words sort of fall down from the sky into our fingertips. I always enjoy poetry that mentions parts of speech. If words are leeches, I don't mind them at all! Lydi**
I think if there's a subject, you can write about it.
It's the scratch subject in your mind that scrambles words randomly into something that looks like a poem, and sometimes actually is a poem.

I think your muse is well and truly in the driving seat. You are in the passenger seat beside her but she is in control. Amusing, well that's how I read this Jacob :)

I don't know why but this writing seems very funny to me. Sometimes we start writing something and end up written something else. Sometimes writing feels so desperate..... But I am sure this is not the case for you...

Often seems that way.
Of course, for many, there are times when words hide themselves.
Still, writers must write--no matter its ease or difficulty.
Impactful poetry, Jacob.
Now this I love despite it's sardonic voice (or maybe because of it). I think you are right that many of us are less skilled in the precision that is English language, but still we hang on in there and write in our own inadequate styles, as we try as we may to suck the life blood from our audiences.

I love to think that in this infinity of coincidence and a universe of accidents, if one is born with a poetic inclination then its definitely magical. The little nonsensical jaunt will leave stardust in its trail...
