Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Metamorphosis

peaceful

in her garden,

she grows comfort

i pick greens

of her kindness

her demeanor blossoms

in fall,

in winter

she stands tall

emitting a certain warmth

that ripens

with an early October breeze

i love the fruits

of her intensity

no storm can eradicate

she is beauty

she is a dozen roses

in one

opening to the song of the wind

i am a cloud

moved to a standstill

as i rain within her

smile

and become a clear sky.

thank you for your words, Ruth.
How could a landscape designer, (presently a happy jobbing gardener) not find beauty in this extraordinary poem, j ! A mind positively blossoms and sighs long and loud reading your words. Especially those in the last three lines.

this is wonderfully rich poetry Jacob.... and when in love, clear skies abound.... reminds me of the song by
Johnny Nash, "I Can See Clearly Now".... "gonna be a bright sun shinny day..." and in todays climate, man we could use some "sunny days"... you have written a really nice poem here Jacob, thanks for the sunshine!!!

Written with subtlety of fine embordered lace--delicate and so silky! A fine write Jacob!

Yes, when you are with the right person it can cause changes within you, and if things are really right, the benefit is mutual. Loved the floral metaphors in this one.
