Is there a reason to love? I think to truly love someone, you don’t need a reason! Sometimes we pluck a rose without knowing what to with it and it shrivels and dies in our hand. Does it prick our skin, maybe but it does still leave its scent behind. Your poetry leads the student into many directions and I am just leaving one of my trains of thought behind here.

This touched a nerve in me having been through a number of unsuccessful relationships. Sometimes we seem to drift into these for the most innocuous reasons and cannot end them and thus our heart isn't in it and it dies. As FKK and Sabrina say love is complicated!
