Harmony?
Doesn't sound like harmony to me, maybe forced harmony.

keep well, my friend.
Once pen is put to paper, there are no secrets; although those wonderful poetical tools we so effectively hide behind, often serve to disguise the true meaning of a poet's words.
But I would have it no other way, for I find both great fascination and enjoyment in doing my best to interpret and understand what lies beneath the surface.

enjoy your break; and make sure 'tis a break not a severance. :))
Powerful words and thoughts shared Jacob. I believe we cannot write down everything. Some blackness need to stay hidden. The unwritten words of Hemingway and Salinger showed the waste of war. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.

It is karma and you are welcome Jacob. Finally two days off in a roll. I can read and think.
Behind closed doors ...they say the 'Secret' remains but does it always. There are those who are impatient for those secret trysts to be set free to the detriment of parties concerned!
“Ornery silence” is my favorite from this piece, J. They do seem to be the worst-tempered creatures, gnawing on our conscience, and they despise being caged. I suppose that’s why so few people can keep them.
How do you wriggle your way into the words Jacob? You seem to be able to get to the core of what you are writing about with the minimum of words. Each one purposely selected. You must have an incredible knowledge of the English language. Very clever.

I really don't know where they come from...i much more a conduit for the muse than a poet. I almost feel more like a plagiarist because i don't know anything except i usually pour out 4 or 5 at a time...get in a zone...and then suddenly it is over.
can't really take credit...but i feel lucky to get touched by the muse.
but thank you so much for your kind words.

To write, to express 'make believe' is one thing, one thing only.. it's putting words to thoughts. To divulge a secret either one's own or someone else's is tantamount to putting words to personal emotions and thus, disloyalty to human spirit. Surely? Secrets are as sacred as oaths ...
