Peter PresidingA Poem by jacob erin-cilberto
bellowing
angels stranded wings, God's children ruin
their sneakers running into a sin's
mire foolish frenzies of
hateful corporation a conglomerate of poorly
played symphonies the sound abrasive prayers just abstract intentions never said the music in the
confessional is a bevy of insincere
notes bellowing angels wings of love and
guardianship ripped apart with convoluted
inception of lies of lies of lies the courtroom is deadly
silent the flying is over the truth is out there are no more songs
of love that mean what they are
meant to mean just raspy voices begging for a curbside
quarter or two. erin-cilberto 11/13/19 © 2019 jacob erin-cilbertoReviews
