Rock-n-float. = Shake things up, just to get a reaction.
Been there. Done that.
As for poetry: What matters, in that moment, is all that matters. The magic is between the words. In the spaces, readers insert self. Each one has their personal filter. Write for your wellbeing. Readers will glean, what they need.

i appreciate your insightful words, Valormore...

Where there's passion, there is life. Where there is silence, there is a numbness, a lack of caring, a desire for it to just go away. When one has passion, he wants to shake the tree until the leaves come raining down. This poem is a cry for love.
Damn J.
Loving this one. This is something I definitely can relate to. I've said to my current partner many times you have to love enough to fight for it or it shows it's worthlessness in your eyes. I appreciate this piece not following any direct parameters and it's strong word choices. There is a lot of strength in you verse drawn from very strong words that are poignant. I really like this line.
"love is a radio station in static salaciousness"
I felt this really encapsulates the piece. Love not gone but almost can't be tuned in. You hear it between the static but it almost drives you mad you can't bring it in to focus and make it more than a ghost between other realities. Maybe I read in too much, but that's what I got. Great read J. You're definitely one of my muses when I view your work, I aspire to such refined and well written thoughts and emotions. Thanks J.

This could've been written for the younger me. Avoidance was my middle name . . . endings & other rash acts were committed in the most abrupt way possible (no words). This poem makes me feel a little bit ashamed about how unfair I was to many guys (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Oh my. Things are so mundane, so lacking in interest or passion, you are begging for an argument to stir up a reaction. Relationships need life. This one is sick. Time for counselling methinks Jacob. Love the title. Most people would be praying for peace :)

A lack of passion is an illness for sure. How can we know who we are if we don't know what we are against? May passion never die in you. I enjoyed this poem.
