Cease FireA Poem by jacob erin-cilbertoCease Fire insurgence you attacked my heart with a hostile takeover but we reached
armistice in forgiving embrace and now co-exist nicely in what once was a war
zone some of the cosmetics of
the skirmish still visible especially within, war wounds woven
seamlessly into the fabric of emotions that became
shrapnel before the duct tape
forgiveness brought about a desperate truce. erin-cilberto 10/23/19 © 2019 jacob erin-cilbertoReviews
