The sounds of Guitar strings on clouds of memory
seem to play the rhythm of bygone days where
her voice rustles like the wind through golden red
leaves falling gently through time. truly, Pat
A romantic note from the poet's past. A lady, a band and a smile that turned his world upside down. It conjures up the soft memory with the six strings lifting up. Marvelous sir Jacob...
I am now wondering if we all have a tune strumming in the background of our minds, that likes the spotlight a little too much and eagerly awaits those dramatic solo, spotlit moments that time travels back to the collection of moments we shared. If i werent tone deaf i would have a number one hit on my hands... Well, mind.
The image of tears hitting paper, making ink and mind bleed really resonates. I half expected the word 'fin" to flash up in black and white.
Incidentally, the tune i have in my head after reading is B. B. King's second hand woman.

My then fiance surprised me with the tickets as an engagement present, and even talked them into coming over to meet me and have a drink. Best hour of my life. Truly modest, kind people who treated me like the star because we came from deepest, darkest Scotland.
They also signed headshots, which i still have... Unlike my fiance, whatever her name was 😀

what ever her name was...thank God for the Blues and B.B....
A solo act our mind replays in the dark, her fingers always on the right strings, lifting or drowning our heart. She's a poetess with a bluesy voice, who can rhyme and sing us to smiles or tears. Think it's time to find something on that playlist and listen with some whiskey. A soulful piece, J.

A reflective romantic one, Jacob. "The ink splattered sound of tears"....heavy sigh. Remembering at certain times of the year can bring on the blues. Lydi**
