an air of gratitudeA Poem by jacob erin-cilberto
blistered
emotions over and over the scabs remind me of her cutting remarks abrasive ascension to another plane of
disrespect
leaving me grounded healing on my own
then blissfully
reemerging
a pilot of discretion flying solo through clouds of
reinstatement
i am human, again soaring against an azure
sky
a deeply contented blue.
