Love your powerful war-related imagery to convey how sometimes we are on such a different wavelength than the object of one's affection, that person evidently not picking up any signal at all! *sigh!* Fondly, Margie
This is a common battleground that can foster resentments in the end we lick our wounds and wonder how life will play itself out indeed i have though t several times this play is acting itself out and i am a pawn but and a big one i have the power of choice end of rant nice poem jacob of inner thoughts
We can have all the ammo and preparation in the world, but some have shields of invincibility, that deflect back only our own vulnerability.
I heard them celebrate their victory, but can't remember waving a white flag. I'm not coming out until I know its safe 😀
he sure gave it all he had, pulling at all the stops but alas it was not meant to be. must be mind-boggling and staggering how many times this scenario has played out. all's fair in love and war doesn't seem to apply. a hard reality to swallow. the heart wants what it wants no matter ... :)
happens more than not!! I think of all the times I fell in love with certain faces . . . fell in love from afar,
fell in love with an image I planted in my mind . . . What life hasn't been lived-out in such a way?!

they say love is blind... I believe some times some people are so full of other stuff, they just dont notice what lays before them... then there are the others of course, who maybe see things that are not really there to be seen.... Metaphorically speaking, I suggest a deep breath, a step back and prepare for a full on onslaught upon the morrow.... Another good un here jacob sir if ya dont mind me sayin.... just sayin :)
