what were once vices

what were once vices

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

what were once vices

sniff a little white

pinch a bit of snuff between

white snow turns yellow

Did the vice's lure eventually lose its appeal? Sounds like the idealised white eventually lost its pristine shine....

You are welcome
Laura
Who said that?
Who are you?
Who am I?
Sniff, sniff.
Did I tell you about everything? No! Okay, let's begin. 😀

Ps... I never did partake of powdered anxiety, but I have been stuck in a few conversations with those who do. I wish they had the brevity of your piece here Jacob.

thank you, Lorry...:))))
Though seems unclear to me, yet still whispering something sensible into my ears that vice versa is what life is made of. Things change at random. Perfection is never was, never is and never would be.

This is what I'm seeing here, J.

Needless to say, didn't understand much of this! Wot! Interesting to do what I rarely do, read some of your other reviews - must say some of your reviewers' revelations intrigued me and amused me. Consequently, ended up with an Honours degree in legalities of the purest form. Does your ad-vice come free, j ?

What were once vices are still vices for some of us although seem to be becoming more acceptable in some parts of the world. That yellow snow had me smiling big time. Had me thinking about walking the dog in winter and then far worse :)

Being two years into legal recreational pot use in CA, I have to say, I often forget that it was ever not legal. Nobody's behavior has changed. It's just nobody is hiding anymore! I love your title -- being a SF peninsula girl, I had a big soft spot for the Doobies & this album in particular! *wink! wink!* Fondly, Margie

It takes all the fun out of vices if everything is legal. Canada has made pot legal. The government is involved, that should tell you all you need to know about how well it's working.
Daddy always said "don't eat the yellow snow"...
A fun write, j.
