WhateverA Poem by jacob erin-cilberto
is this
art? or poetry, or both or neither and did you ever exist when our lips
purportedly met conveying askance of
tongue twisting not of the
"difficult to say words" kind but more the
"silent chemical reaction fogged up the windows"
kind in what we considered a
limousine of love even if it was only a
'64 rambler with reclining seats for reclining effort and bended knees next
afternoon as the priest listened
breathlessly to the synopsis of art? or poetry, or both or neither even if you didn't exist i could bring the dream
of you into the confessional and amuse Father blank who would stare
blankly through the screen wondering if my car had a good radio... erin-cilberto 8/6/19 © 2019 jacob erin-cilbertoReviews
