If I turn it off then my comments seem distant and are sometimes interpreted as uncaring or at best unthinking. If I let them have free-range then I seem to get philosophically smarmy and, oh lawdy, is that a cringe-worthy hoot. lol But, I agree, it slips in and nothing to be done about it. Sometimes, it's a good thing because there a feeling like it was wanted, perhaps needed, and you did something positive with your words. You know?

A clever use of word weaves and association. The colours give life to this short but meaningful poem and one cannot help but marvel at the colour of the poem in the end (red).
