specifically in random pursuitA Poem by jacob erin-cilbertospecifically in random
pursuit i am
elsewhere at the moment so don't look into my
eyes you will see clear glass with nothing on the
other side. i would like to be here but she isn't, so i am everywhere but
where i want to be and if the eyes really are
the window of the soul mine is somewhere
weeping somewhere creeping into that dark cavern of
memory and there, it will stay for a moment or two, or
three or four wherefore art thou? forever near & forever there, where i want to be. erin-cilberto 3/12/19 © 2019 jacob erin-cilberto |
