Can feel this movement of your souls, this joy of walking as one, of touching and never wishing to let go. Beautiful words that lift the heart, even in the bittersweet moments of finding the next step in the path. Wondrous, my friend.
This reminded me of the song Love street by the doors. Back to the write, maybe They came from opposite sides of the street and one cannot over step a solid line marked on a road to cross over! All in all another classic from the master.
yeah wow - the intensity of the first moments of a relationship - it's true, that intensity can swing one way or the other - so many emotions strong as heck until something has to give ... I like the idea of one last kid, then another, than another ....

I must say this poem brought back old, pleasant memories . . . Never was much of a hand-holder . . . but loved those long kisses!!! No yellow line on the back country rode I traveled home from my future wife's parents home late at night . . . my heart didn't explode, but it sure did swell up, which was dangerous; for it might've kept me from watching out for restless deer. Got lucky then . . . and still am.

Young love. Gloria Gaynor era. Must have been 1970's with never can say goodbye. Last kiss also a song probably from same time period. Some heavy breathing going on here, but not much more for fear of breaking boundaries probably instilled by religion. That's the journey you took me on Jacob. Brought back a few memories of mine as well.

Sounds as though things were getting a little too hot here. I think the yellow line symbolizes another line that should not be crossed. One "then another" too many, I'd say. Depending on the situation, the side street was probably the safer location.
