walking into yesterday's grooveA Poem by jacob erin-cilbertowalking into yesterday's
groove we held
hands for blocks at a time the compass always
pointing towards the sun of us you were my "never
can say goodbye" i was your "last
kiss" and then another and then another and another until the breathing
ceased to be silent and we broke embrace to save our hearts from
exploding across the yellow line not accustomed to
residing on a side-street of
love. erin-cilberto 3/7/19 © 2019 jacob erin-cilbertoReviews
