intimate cursive...

intimate cursive...

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

intimate cursive...

Sadistic kisses,

my lips are masochistic

so torture me till dawn

let me taste the blood of bad intention

i will bathe in it

and your aura, even as my mouth bleeds

words of endearment,

and my breath vacillates

before the cut of the tongue

tells me you are leaving

and i ask for a napkin

to wipe the blood

spilled from my

wounded pen

that loved every

beautifully agonizing moment

of osculation

with yours.

i really like the line "beautifully antagonising moment", i think theres a lot of things in life where the moment of occurrence is one of pain, self-inflicted or not, however there is beauty in the wisdom it may be imparting
there is a lot of contrasting imagery between violence and hurt and that which is intimate and beautiful and harmless
i really interesting read!!

So beautiful and painful
at the same time and love
can be that way when you
love them so much your
heart aches.

Very painful yet
beautifully etched.

I am so happy to learn they are teaching cursive again in school. They had stopped for a while. I loved this piece. handwriting can be so satisfying and say so much about someone. I am a master of printing, but my cursive is sloppy and unkempt. Have to work on that.

Some pain can indeed be so beautifully agonizing. There's an almost unearthly fulfillment there. Your words well from a place deep within your soul, Jacob, and the reader can feel their essence....I felt awesome reading them!

thank you for your very kind review, DIVYA,

I have to say, that the title drew me in because I kind of fell in love my wife before I ever met her because she was a subcontractor and would send in these invoices and reports and she had the sexiest handwriting. Sorry, off topic. This says it all, I felt this all the way to my toes. Heat, passion, desire this is the second piece I have read today that flirts with the aggression of passion. both have left me in a spent heap...lol.

Sometimes we can't help but get caught up in love that we know will break us in the end for it is like the tractor bean on the Death Star.
