a splendid poem jacob but in that sad way only poets can tell... and mere mortals relate... N.
wow...i feel so much pain in this ..years of sad tragic changes as two people fall away from one another ..i think it striking that among the darkening the one bright spot is honest eyes .... and so an ability to face hard facts when things are over ...and so all the suppressed feelings and thoughts flood the protagonist ... and i suppose the antagonist as well ... whew .. for me very emotive, creative, tightly packed free form ... :(

Minutes before seeing this one of those things popped up online about robots. Being automated and having as much emotion as something making burgers or bolting car parts is not my idea of romance. :)
That comely land of happy smiles...doesn't last long against her wiles. Too late the discovery that the aisle separates two lonely isles. One rising from the waters, the other sinking below the waves of discontent.
Fated to live an Abba existence...Knowing me knowing you...but now there is no you.
Sadly...still a good write.

This is so, so deep and forlorn in the realisation that the very things that caused the spark have dimmed and left the stage and the star actor has gone her own way even when the director wants her to stck to the script.
