a Lincoln for a Leer....A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto
lackadaisical
lummox loved loosely sought sirens'
scintillating scent but bared his bottom
bleary eyed blind causing chaotic cracks
in the canvas of his calligraphy so he wrote writhing
wrinkled wrestling thoughts to temper his too
tenacious trespasses and poetically place his
pen in proper perspective after hours, wistfully wishing she
had a penny for his profane thoughts. erin-cilberto 2/22/19 © 2019 jacob erin-cilbertoReviews
