indeterminate language of us

indeterminate language of us

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

indeterminate language of us

give me nothing of you

and will still feel like i have everything

even just the little somethings you reserve

those could be anything i desire to capture

when all things are taken into consideration

i at least had a glimpse

of that one thing we could have been.

Wow, this is so powerfully spoken. You see possibilities in nothing? Your words give me the feeling of a dandelion head being blown into the wind and a bystander capturing one tiny parachute from the whole. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.
