icicle's ingenious argument

icicle's ingenious argument

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

icicle’s ingenious argument

warm hearts burn themselves out

cold creates callous chaos

we can live with

in blind confusion's abode.

I love frozen things sometimes....and I also frost my heart at times in order to make it safe....many does like that...mostly in despair...

But, every cause has a reason you surely know....
flammable or non-combustible can change their qualities as per their situations...
Another fine write from you...Be blessed :)

That's really generous of you dear Jacob...You're warmly welcome and be in grace🌟
when you freeze things they last longer, that's what I've learned
so living with a frozen heart is not ideal but I think it spares us the slow painful death of a heart on fire

oooh, yes...there is truth in that statement.
thank you, Ana,

'blind confusion'...not to be mistaken for 'mass delusion'...though nowadays there is a case to be made for that...chaos theory...or lemmingade...take your pick.
The alliteration jumps out in this, j.

A good write.

What a great play on words, did this poem hit you in one thought and image or did it just happen?

You are welcome Jacob.
Icicles change state. You either have the big freeze, or you can wait for the thaw. Most relationships have both. The thaw though is most beautiful when it comes after a freeze.

When the fire burns it burns.
Sadly when the embers die, a cold reality blows from the north and the igloo freezes hell over.
Still, tomorrows another day.

there is a climate change within our hearts especially with today's generation. There is no love anymore or on the definition of it!
