when Ferraris become RamblersA Poem by jacob erin-cilbertowhen Ferraris become
Ramblers i once
thought i had posit-traction kisses could lay rubber down on
lipstick roads thought my arms could be
seat belt protection for the crash of
youthful liaisons invincible spark plugs that would never die
sober or sputter against age's
acceleration but alas, fenders rust and the body dents even when the illusion
still has the pedal to the medal. erin-cilberto 2/12/19 © 2019 jacob erin-cilbertoReviews
