crazy longing

crazy longing

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

crazy longing

screaming mute siren

gorgeous incentives bellow

anticipation swells

moss worn excitement

almost non-existent

now a smooth amulet

to the touch

you are a warning

i fail to heed,

as my fingers absorb your voice

caressing each syllable

with a reckless abandon

that shatters the din

of sanity

and lets me live again.

Well Jacob, a different tone. The melancholy has sunk and I sense an air of anticipation and excitement. May you continue to caress those syllables. An uplifting little poem here.

Your poem pours on the sensations of this state -- "crazy longing" -- so well! This might be one of the more upbeat & passionate-sounding bellows I've ever heard out of you & I like it! *wink! wink!* Fondly, Margie
