untended inflectionsA Poem by jacob erin-cilberto
violins play sad
semantics on taut heart strings wooden feelings misjudge cryptic notes i think of you in the
song your fingers moving
across my skin as if to play certain
chords of understanding yet i am lost as i listen to the
vacuous echoes the brazen bow touching
vainly the perpetrator of
sound chills my insides as if it were rubbing
against grammatical bone. erin-cilberto 8/17/18 © 2018 jacob erin-cilbertoReviews
