clarity is the genius of existence

clarity is the genius of existence

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

clarity is the genius of existence

and the years in serpentine appearance

muddled retrospect,

once the clarity of longevity of love

now ashes lie next to each other

in urns turned towards the sunsets

and nature's whispers bow to the memory

of old flames once shooting stars

in pristine sky of youth

then raising youth

then being razed by the very hand that made them

unmade bodies

years spent bound hand in hand

then minds floating away together

love never really dies

because souls always have forever

in which to dance.

The eternal youth of eternal love or the eternal love of eternal youth...either way, eternity is a very long time. Here's to finding the right music to listen to in the den while our date gets ready.

beautiful jacob...really appreciate the serenity this poem leads us to in closing ... yin and yang ... fire and ice ...both hurt and joy ... your poem makes me feel the all present connection we have to the Natural world as well as the Spiritual .. what an inspiring piece ... one to think about for a while ... i feel kind of blissful ;)
