what looks better unseenA Poem by jacob erin-cilberto
appealing
looks, repealing
shadows of heart scintillating
imagination catches
the eye of the mind but
then the sun ends its comic relief the
moon dances alone she was
pretty once until
he opened the shades withdrew
the curtains saw her
reflection deep
inside the mirror of his
intellect appealing
looks became
revealing considerations when
she opened her mouth and
spoke a fluent language of lies erin-cilberto 7/29/18 © 2018 jacob erin-cilbertoReviews
