in the boxA Poem by jacob erin-cilbertoin the box interrogate
me tonight i might be in the mood to poem you some answers yet shallow as they may
be i will never let you
look inside me i will rot in the cell before you are privy to
my themes my replies will border
on obscurity but in the abstract
hours there may be some clues may be some
accessibility some vulnerability a chance for you to break my heart's case or maybe, you will just thank me
for my time the few syllables the rhyme give me leave to confess to my
keyboard and grant my own
reprieve. erin-cilberto 7/28/18 © 2018 jacob erin-cilbertoReviews
