![]() detonating reasonA Poem by jacob erin-cilbertodetonating reason then you became the oxygen the resuscitation as lips burned back to life eyes blinked in serendipitous wonder you came from a past that had extinguished itself in latent sorrow fields but the dead don't bury themselves in love it is premature burial, i saw you in my peripheral mirror and kissed back blue turned to crimson insight incited into combustion we exploded against a purple moon exaggerated indifference became passion's shrapnel and we became bits and pieces of each other's soul when heaven couldn't begin to define itself. erin-cilberto 6/13/18
