love this poem stumbled on it just now .. perfect and sometimes we can never restart a relationship, love, or a youthful fun moment of time... this was written a few years ago.. hope you have a new start button ie new love
“My fingers bleed”-Regret in type-set... Every strike of a key is a memory. Exquisitely sad but heart-breakingly beautiful poem and metaphor. Great form, flow, cadence, imagery and use of pauses, as if the typewriter carriage is being pushed back between verses. We see her ghostly image, drained of the blood of lost love. “restart”, please. Perfect.
Emotions need to be communicated when they are felt...or the ship sails off without you on it. If only we had a do over in life, but that rarely is available. Lydi**
Would LIFE be as interesting if we could hit RESTART anytime we needed a rewrite.i think it would be interesting to read manuscripts of great stories of all time before the rewrites and edits

Hmmm- sometimes restart is not an option- once you pass a certain point there’s no going back no matter how we wish- some things are better left as is🌹

I don't know why she has to write you all the time? Sounds one sided. While your pen glides- does it ever reach the other side?
