are there really bars on the windowsA Poem by jacob erin-cilberto
dried
moons, psychopathic lips kiss crazy arms bound in strait
jacket embrace lovely white room
midnight with you and no prescription can
repel the frantic need as love's addiction draws me into your veins i want us to break out
together run for our lives with shattering steps
toward oblivion where no one can see us we will hide in the
shadows of insanity knowing full well, we are only crazy for
each other and the ups and downs we only
think we imagine are real. erin-cilberto 4/28/18 © 2018 jacob erin-cilbertoReviews
