matters that are you

 

 

just a simple poem

i set out to extricate 

but you complicate

matters of intricacy

as your heart's delicacy 

became my hypocrisy

and our love spontaneous conundrum.

I like this. Probably for all the wrong reasons it pleases me fully. I can reach on the shelf of the vocabulary bin replace or exchange and tinker at leisure. I can blink at intricate and transform into intimate, play with extricate, extirpate, and explicate. Here is the freedom to mix colors and contours as one might do with metaphors, supply and imply the unstated combustible pun in the blink of an eye - all to my indelicate delight. So thanks for the kit.

When I read this the first thing that came to mind was someone trying to repair a hole in the ground, only to find themselves buried in it. Anyone who thinks love is simplistic is crazy, it's complex. As is the love affair in trying to compose a poem.

Who will mind to be a poem? not I!

Sometimes in Love, and when You might love someone so much, the emotions of sensitivity might control Your mind and heart, this will lead to complexity instead of ease and peace at the mind, the other partner in trying to keep their lover safe they might tell "white lies" so they don't give more hurt or uneasy thoughts to their loved one, when it comes to poets it even gets more emotional because that's the nature of them, this cycle of love, is like a mystery, this what I can get from Your words here.
