out of touch as fingertips reach for the moonA Poem by jacob erin-cilbertoout of touch as
fingertips reach for the moon an
eyeful of sorrow leaks, impressions upon a cheek
warping with fracture lives in hiding love abandoned technical triumphs distinguishing features
of breathing disappear through circuits of cold color not the autumn kind with
brisk enchantment but wires for veins cyber blood flowing the real kind clotting in confusion blink and it's gone blink and it returns we are subject to our
own wisdom's detriment and losing that which
we have called sentiment. erin-cilberto 4/19/18 © 2018 jacob erin-cilberto |
