the cry of spring

the cry of spring

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

the cry of spring

Sunday saturates

the soil with weeping tears

it's April again.

And April showers bring May flowers....or so they say. The weather has been nasty this year. Soon the springtime will really arrive. Lydi**

For once the sun is shining here.
Milk bottle people craving vitamin D, are running around like gazelles here.
You've got to love them.
Away for a spray tan. Just to get one step ahead of them.

You are welcome Jacob.
i remember a poem by emily dickinson the light that exists in spring which has this familiar stanza
It waits upon the lawn;
It shows the furthest tree
Upon the furthest slope we know;
It almost speaks to me... and i remember the beauty of april showers where nature has always been beautiful and needs to be cherished. nice piece of writing jacob.
