the cry of spring

the cry of spring

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

the cry of spring

Sunday saturates

the soil with weeping tears

it's April again.

Beautiful haiku and that certainly sums up the continuous rainfall we have experienced where I live in the month of April. I also appreciated the alliteration in this piece and the way it sounds when read out loud. Nice.

I have to say WOW, THAT IS April! for some mystical reason it always carry to me, to many others too, a warming wistful feeling... like Your heart is full and pouring with warmth that You want to cry... You want to love, to give love but not certain to whom or to where... yes, that's April, I myself wrote and writing right now another April Poem!

Gee
Prefer the crying to God's dandruff.
Warmer weather on the horizon, yeahhhhhhhhh, Fed up to my back teeth of trudging around freezing cold construction sites covered in mud.
Morning Jacob hope you are well.

Spring doesn't come like it use to. In fact, nothing really comes as it use to except the dark, flames or intransigence. It's snowing outside my window as i write this. Toldja/ dana

Just a cry of rain would help down here in this Indian summer weather! We have had no rain so far this year!

I love the title Jacob, crying indeed .. but spring needs to shed those tears to help the beautiful flowers grow.
