A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

where the penny lies

lastly the costly

expense of apathetic

thinking drives us mad

Powerful and true words shared my friend. Over-thinking things can make old things lay heavy upon our mind. Thank you Jacob for sharing the amazing poetry.

Unfortunately Canada no longer has the penny. Don't know what I'd get for my thoughts now.

Burke's thought “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men should do nothing.”
has become the rallying cry of society.

More's the pity.

Good write, j.

Priceless pleasure🌹
Apathy is not the way to go in our world. Everyone is entitled to an opinion...and should have one. To not have one, well, it puts us in a sort of purgatory. A lot said here, Jacob. lydi**

Yes even doing nothing comes at a price, a bit like a stitch in time saves nine scenario.

I fear it’s only a matter of time if it hasn’t happened already. I must say, this one makes me long for a simpler time, which some may disagree ever existed but I say it damn well did. You always say it best, J. Glen x
