A sad write, but it is a sadly true one.. To many people search for the easy way out and sometimes the poison is what takes them to it. Such a truthful write
So true and wisely said from an experienced and well practiced in life and relationships. It is so important to know that everything we say or do have consequences and even choices too as your powerful poem rightly states. You are amazing.
The line most will highlight is: "consequences never have an expiration date."
It could also be said, the cause of those consequences is often too quickly forgotten.
Resulting in people eventually feeling as if "the fates" are cruelly and pointlessly victimizing them.
Maybe better memories would humble most of us; dispelling the weak notion that we don't deserve exactly what we're getting.
Exceptional work!
It is hard to put down anything that is enjoyably intoxicating, even if we know that there is price to be paid at the end of it. Women, liquor, a good book of poetry. It all comes to an end. But, my friend, there is always another bottle and book to buy. Great use of metaphor on your part. Respect. CD

There are probably many ways of reading/interpreting these beautiful yet emotionally charged words of yours & I have no doubt at all before long, they will be. For my part however, I sense a final or the ultimate parting..........Cheers jacob... Neville
