Rapunzel's KeepsakeA Poem by jacob erin-cilberto
daffodil
rage, even the dandelions
cower you threw my affections from the highest tower the weeds of memory grow
thick and righteous the soft turf turns to
rock the pain in surplus bends in the hard rain
of indifference the water on cheeks of
sad bloom of sad tune yet the heart still has
room. erin-cilberto 3/12/18 © 2018 jacob erin-cilbertoReviews
