I still have that "where are they now" feeling and what could have been. It's funny how old feelings still have a pang in your heart even though the reasoning part of you knows it all B.S. But what would we be without memories? Thanks for always stirring the pot. CD

Cleverly put, metaphorically you. The past certainly gave your readers food for thought, jacob

My liitle kitty cat, Chivers, naughtied her way into my bedroom as i was recovering from measles - . she loved me, and I loved her.. brother Josh took the pic!
wanted that "A" so bad!!!! got a "D-" instead :(( especially like the work with "detention"...how relatable that is ...i was taught by the "Brothers" in high school and got caught skipping classes .. if we were absent one of our parents had to call in by a certain time so they knew it was real...i use to call in and claim to be my mother until that day my voice was "cracking"...i had my friend say he was me Da and i was busted..i had to stay after for a whole month ... oh well ... it was all boys Catholic school so was only distracted by my own images of the ladies ;) i especially like these lines:
"calling your name from the principal's office
empty hallways answer"
Forever crushed by a crush and to add insult to injury she's probably forgotten you too or didn't even know!A relatable piece giving rise to" if only I asked what would have happened!" Nicely articulated J

Looking back, I would rather the death penalty be invoked on those who deliberately hurt me. The intent was to graduate into something more meaningful, if not love. At our class reunion I still wanted to strangle Joanne Davis lol. Very relatable poem my friend.,...dana
