sedentary heart
no exercise of love
no emotional workout
a dormant mind, not writing a word
about any of it,
when there is no activity,
even sadness,
when the feelings are quietly
lying in a gym bag of attrition
only obese tears shed
emptiness, then emptiness then again only a void of emptiness... when You wish You can feel pain instead of feeling nothing, when Your senses are numb, and You wonder if the tear that will eventually comes will be a proof that inside, You are still alive, sometimes the training of the mind and meditations can put us inside this state, though it should be accompanying with peace, but it's not, I don't know what might be going inside the mind, and I think our characters can affect it, if we don't control them, but if we are doing it right, this stage will be over, and it's but a process of healing our minds, on the other hand, I read through Your words someone who tries and practice to isolate himself from everything around, from all the surroundings, not like being unsociable, but to be isolated from the bad effects of it, like that he can change the unwanted environment around him, focusing on himself alone.
This is different from the poems which I read from You, the style makes it perfect, it speaks of the indepths of a human nature, and I feel You here, the gentle sensitive nature of You that plays a great deal in this, and if You are facing this, I know You will get out from all of this, all the best for You.

This topic seems a little outside your usual themes (which I enjoy very much), but I love the way you applied your creative metaphorical treatment in such a poignant & powerful way! *smile* Fondly, Margie

Another original take on a familiar subject. I can relate well to this one. What came to mind after reading it was the pain I often feel after a particularly hard workout or a marathon, sometimes aching for days, but my mind and body a little stronger each time. Love's like that, too--often painful but helps us grow, even if it's new scar tissue.
