colors of calm
A Poem by
jacob erin-cilberto
colors of calm
a
stifling wind
eases
you breeze into my life
wafting gently toward my
heart
clouds part
as we come together,
i love the sky blue of
you
halcyon is not dipped in
sadness
necessarily,
and rain doesn't need to
be unpleasant
if we share the umbrella
of destiny
facing any causal
climate
with serene stillness.

warm rain shared is the best, thunderstorms even better. I love the romantic side of your poetry, when you decide to be charming there is no stopping you!

The melancholy feel to this reminded me much of the holiday itself, how it settles into our soul for a long winter's nap.
Stirring and most poignant, Jacob!

You are welcome jacob !.............:)...
I really love this . . . I wish to share serene moments this way, but most are tangled in noisy thoughts. Particularly love the weather-related metaphor that you've extended gracefully thru-out! *smile* Fondly, Margie

Another fine write, Jacob.
Loved the weather references throughout. Very apt since love does tend to create a weather pattern in the heart.
Best wishes to you for Christmas and the festive season. I appreciate your support of my writing over this past year.
