Calcified TomorrowsA Poem by jacob erin-cilbertocalcified tomorrows
falling
off the bone Adam's rib a love of woman more wine, less Fig leaf
a nude commodity in a once lifeless
garden
spontaneity saw itself
in the mirror the epitome of
embarrassment skin raw from tears of
regret
tender years of
intrusive knowledge now separate tables foliage hides the scars but not the love
less wine more Fig leaf the woman’s love an imagined virtue
in a decimated paradise bone dry epitaph etched on his heart of
stone.
