this one is powerful, though You are speaking of hope but to me it was more about desperation, a waiting heart needs always a motivation of hope, if not it will be dragged into emptiness and despair, the sense of time and the feeling of it will do that, so if the hope is always ignited with something joyous, this sense of time will no longer exist.
going to be chewing on this one a while... kind of spooky ...the fugitive lurking ...making ones hope a crime ... two desirable traits ..hope and incentive ...kind of made murky ..on the wharf...in the night...swirling mist ..and hiding behind a dark container ... waiting ... waiting .... i think i see Bogart drifting through the dull light of the only street lamp :))))))))))))
